. . . a road trip to Mexico, partying with my siblings, and sucky hospital visits
Summer is slowly slipping away, and I decided I should pause long enough to record a few memorable events. I completed a marathon trip to Victoria, Mexico where I bravely subjected myself to the extraction of four wisdom teeth. I wouldn't call it a vacation, but a much-needed chore was accomplished and my bank account dodged a $4,000 dollar bullet! Upon my return, I decided to make a mad dash trip to the Texas Panhandle in order to celebrate my oldest sister's thirtieth birthday. All of my siblings and I met up with our absentee father and enjoyed a night out on the town. The Amarillo bar scene proved to be quite an experience, and I had a blast! All was fun and games until about 2:30 a.m. when the drunks could no longer control themselves at I-Hop, and the responsible designated driver had to escort them all back to the hotel. And of course, who could forget the last week spent in the Baptist St. Anthony's Critical Care waiting room? My great grandmother fought death, and has miraculously recovered from a minor heart attack and a broken shoulder. Whew! I'm exhausted. I think I'll go to bed now.
P.S. I have pictures of all of these lovely events, but after an hour of trying to include them in this blog, I've decided to give up. If anyone can tutor me on attatching photos I'd love a lesson!
